Creation comes from hope, from necessity, from abundance. Disclaimers, hedging our bets and legalities come from fear and greed. When you live in the past, when you come from fear, when your main purpose is to protect and hoard, you aren’t creative. Let’s just say the firm of Scrooge and Marley weren’t known as venture capitalists. It’s hard to be tightfisted and open to new ideas.
There is no doubt that fear and greed play an enormous role in our world, imagine if the lawyers got ahold of us earlier:

We have inner lawyers too, the phrase, “Let’s be realistic,” is a stone cold creativity killer. Fire the lawyers!
Play up today, assume some risk, remember, if you get stuck in a creative state for more than 4 hours, don’t just tell your doctor, tell everybody!
I believe in justice. I grew up in an alcoholic family. There was much fighting and I was afraid to confront anyone. I learned to keep quiet since I never knew what mood my mom was going to be in.
I was bullied from time to time. The biggest lesson I learned was when Debra, an exwife of a man whom I made friends with. Debra really went after me. She did some serious damage and it lasted for about 5 years. No one listened to me not even the police. I am learning not be be intimidated by the humans who have to have their way. Their way is not always the right way. We do something wrong and we blame our paents, our friends, society but we can put it on our heads and just decide to be better and not to live in the past. It is not always easy but I am doing it by not worrying about what people think of me. I have much morals and scruples. I am concerned about my health as well. These lawyers are pathetic.
It is ok, maureen – this isn’t real. I know it seems we live in a litigious world, maybe we do, but there is a place for attorneys. If you are in need of one it would be sad not to have access to representation.
Sadly, as everything else – this power can be abused.
I hope you can help yourself by have strength of spirit – it sounds like you need that in your life. When you lose the ability to be subjective about your life situation – life is harder to navigate.
